Linda S. (Sheaffer) Marshall, 62, died Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Norwood, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School. She also attended Stonehill College in Easton. Mrs. Marshall was an entrepreneur and was the former owner of several different stores, including Sports Fever and Red Hot Comics and Cards, both in Stoughton Center. She also owned a Hot Dog Truck on the Stoughton/Easton line for several years. A lover of cats, in her free time, she enjoyed playing Bingo at Foxwoods and playing video games.
She is survived by her children, Warren E. Snow of Franklin, Suzanne L Snow of Brockton and Tracey A. Snow and her spouse Daniel McLaughlin. She was the grandmother of Cassidy Snow, Andrew McLaughlin and Matthew McLaughlin. She was the sister of Kathleen Kelley of Gloucester and Sandra Simmons of CA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, August 5, at 8 PM. Visiting Hours prior to the prayers from 5-8 PM. Donations in Linda's memory may be made to the MSPCA, 350 S Huntington Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
