Linda Lee (Sousa) LaFleur

Linda Lee (Sousa) LaFleur, 72, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Sunday, April 6, 2025. She was the wife of the late Michael E. LaFleur. She was born in Stoughton, daughter of the late John P. Sousa and Marguerite “Rita” (Wilson) Grant. She was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1972. Linda spent the last 10 years living at Alliance Health at West Acres in Brockton. She worked at Denneno’s Pizza in Stoughton for several years and was a nurse’s aide at Weekes Nursing Home in Stoughton for several years. She was also a caretaker, especially through her husband’s illness. She enjoyed playing Bingo and her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially taking trips to the supermarket for her favorite snacks.

Linda is survived by her children, Brandy Lee LaFleur and Michael F. LaFleur both of Stoughton as well as her grandchildren, Crystal Barbosa, Paul Marques, Tavon Gaskins and Amaya Melendez and her great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Hawkins, Rhyis Barbosa, Niana Barbosa, Ryla Barbosa and Naiyahliz Gaskins. She was the sister of Sandra Grover and Debra Belyea both of Stoughton and the late Brenda Catalano. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, April 11 from 4-6:30 PM followed by Family Reflections at 6:30 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, 1100 Washington St., Stoughton on Friday, April 25 at 11 AM.
