Linda L. (Bohnenberger) Hilchey, 67, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Blue Hills Alzheimers Care Center in Stoughton. She was the wife of 45 Years of Leo J. Hilchey. Born, raised and educated in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton schools. Mrs. Hilchey was a resident of Middleboro for the past 42 years. She worked as a hairdresser at Ailano's in Brockton for many years, retiring in 2008. She also worked as an Instructor of Hairdressing and Aesthetics at LaBaron Hairdressing Academy in Brockton for several years. A lover of all animals, especially frogs, in her free time, she enjoyed gardening, reading, taking cruises and playing slot machines. Mrs. Hilchey was the author of the book "The Neighborhood Secret".
In addition to her husband Leo J. Hilchey, she is survived by her sister, Madelyn Fallon of Stoughton. She was the sister of the late Capt. Frederick Bohnenberger, Mass. State Police. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
