Linda Wirrell Goldberg

Linda A. (Wirrell) Goldberg, 49, died Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton. Born in Boston, she was raised in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. She also attended Massasoit Community College. Mrs. Goldberg was a resident of Taunton for the past 11 years, previously living in Brockton for over 4 years. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Agape Inn in Holbrook for over 5 years and previously worked at the Guardian Center in Brockton for several years. In her free time, she enjoyed doing crafts and cake decorating.

She is survived by her children, Desirae M. Goldberg of Athol and Shayna Goldberg of Brockton and her grandchildren, Devontae J. Corbin and Tyler R. Candido. She was the daughter of Charlotte A. (Parlow) Stone of Stoughton and the late Ronald J. Wirrell. She was the sister of Joseph M. Wirrell of Carver, Tammy Lee M. Davis and Charlotte I. Wirrell both of Stoughton, John R, Wirrell Jr. of Taunton, Andrea J. DiFraia of Brockton and Melissa Wirrell of S. Boston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Tuesday, December 20, at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church at 9AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-8 PM. Donations in Linda's name may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
