Leslie L. (Burton) Boehner, 58, a resident of Brockton, died at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Donald J. Boehner for 13 years. She was the daughter of Catherine L. (Pangburn) McDow of Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Canada and the late Geoffrey A. Burton. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Leslie was a paralegal in Halifax, Nova Scotia for 20 years before moving to Brockton in 2005. She was dedicated to her pets and loved bird watching, needlepoint, trout fishing and cooking, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband and her mother, Leslie is survived by her daughter, Ashley Martina Jessome of Brockton. She was also sister to Kenneth Burton of Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, Shelley Burton of Edmonton, Alberta, and David Burton of Lantz, Nova Scotia. She was an aunt to Jared, Julia, Rachael, Emily, and Jack Burton and is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins in the United Kingdom.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, June 23 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 10-11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leslie's memory may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
