Leonora E. "Lee" (Damiano) Reed

Leonora E. "Lee" (Damiano) Reed, 72, died Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at the Seasons Hospice in Milton after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer. She was the wife of 48 years of Robert P. Reed. Born in Somerville, she was raised in Mattapan and was a 1962 graduate of Cathedral High School in Boston. She was also a graduate of Boston Business School. A longtime resident of Stoughton, Mrs. Reed worked as an Office Manager for Immaculate Conception Church and later for Farley Funeral Home, both in Stoughton for many years. Prior to working at Immaculate Conception, she worked for Chapman Waterproofing in Dorchester. She was very active at Immaculate Conception, not only through her work, but also volunteering her time with the youth group, the M12's and the theater group, The Theater on the Run. Mrs. Reed was a former scout leader and former member of the Gibbons School PTA. Several years ago she was active with Stoyac Softball. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling to Foxwoods, taking cruises and family trips, reading, crafts, gardening, spoiling her beloved granddaughters and Family Game Night.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Reed is survived by her children, Francis P. Reed and his wife Bridget of Salem, Christiana L. Calandrello of Avon and Jean-Paul Reed and his wife Kiernan of Franklin. She was the sister of Madeline Dumas of Canton. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Victoria Reed-Fitton, Nancy Reed and Mary Reed. Lee was anxiously awaiting the birth of her fourth grandchild. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27), Stoughton on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 2-5 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Lee's memory may be made to the St. Gerard Majella Kids Camp, 1860 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021.
