Leona M. (Muliero) Wheeler

Leona M. “Lee” (Muliero) Wheeler, 88, died Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Hyde Park and was a 1953 Graduate of Hyde Park High School. She was also a graduate of Burdett Business School. In 1957, she married Edward J. Wheeler and together they spent over 53 years married before his death in 2010. In 1965, they moved their young family to Stoughton and it has been her home since. Lee worked as a Secretary at Boston Mutual Insurance in Canton for over 20 years, retiring at age 64. She was an avid reader, accomplished gardener, a lover of all animals and a fan of the Red Sox. Lee loved to travel and had fond memories of her many trips with her daughter to Castle Combe, England. In her free time, she cherished the moments spent with family and friends.

 Lee is survived by her children; Carol A. Malzenski and her husband Edward of Brewster, Joseph M. Wheeler of Stoughton and Mark E. Wheeler and his wife Rita Coffoni of Middleboro. She was the sister of the late Joseph Matthews, Paul Muliero and Matthew Muliero. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

 A Visiting Hour will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 9-10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 11 AM. Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne, at 1:45 PM.
