Leona C. Hilland

Leona C. (Farrell) Hilland, 88, a resident of Brockton, died at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Thursday, January 1, 2015. She was the wife of the late John Hilland. Daughter of the late Leon and Anna (Anderson) Farrell, she was born and raised in Boston. She was a resident of Brockton for 3 years after living in South Yarmouth for 50 years. Leona worked in customer service at Cape Cod Bank & Trust before retiring many years ago. She enjoyed walks on the beach and loved her cats.
Mrs. Hilland was the sister of A. Patricia Kirkpatrick of Brockton and the late Roberta M. Zappala. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, January 6 at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 10:30-11:30 AM. Interment will take place at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
