Lawrence T. Bragel, 74, a longtime resident of Brockton, died at West Acres Rehab. & Nursing Center in Brockton on Sunday, November 24. He was the husband of Libby A. (Ristagno) Bragel. Born and raised in South Boston, he was a graduate of South Boston High School. He was a resident of Brockton since 1962. Mr. Bragel was a chemical technician for Polaroid Corp. for 40 years before retiring over 15 years ago.
In addition to his wife, Lawrence is survived by his children, Lawrence T. Bragel, Jr. of Provincetown, Linda Wasiak and her husband Marcin of Southbridge, Joseph Bragel and his wife Jacqueline of Littleton, John Bragel and his wife Donna of N. Easton and Lisa Mather and her husband Fred of Brockton. He was the grandfather of Christopher, Rebecca, Shelby, Amanda, Samantha, Arielle and Sabrina. He was the brother of Raymond Bragel and his wife Edith and the late Eleanor Cullinane and Mary Barnett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, November 27 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 9-11 AM.
