Laura E. (Strug) Grant, 89, a longtime resident of Randolph, died at Tower Hill in Canton on Saturday, May 1. She was the wife of the late Henry Q. Grant. Born and educated in Boston, she was a resident of Randolph for 35 years. Mrs. Grant was an accounts payable clerk for General Cinemas in Chestnut Hill for 15 years before retiring at age 65. She was a member of St. Bernadette's Senior Group in Randolph.
Mrs. Grant is survived by her son, Henry A. Grant and his wife Catherine of Randolph, as well as her grandsons, Joseph and Jonathan Grant. She was the sister of the late Joseph Strug and Emil Strug. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, May 5 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours omitted. Burial will take place at New Calvary Cemetery in Boston. Donations in Laura's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
