Laura A. Ebbs, 71, died Thursday, September 25, 2008 at the Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford. Born in Boston, she was raised in Randolph and was a graduate of Randolph High School, class of 1954. Miss Ebbs was a Veteran of the US Navy for over 20 years, retiring in 1980 with the rank of Chief Yeoman. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 25 years, before moving to Medway 2 years ago. She was a computer expert.
She is survived by her three sisters, Dorothy Hembrough of Brockton, Ethel Taranto and Mary Hayward both of Franklin. She was predeceased by 6 brothers and 2 sisters. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, September 29 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5 PM. Donations in Laura's name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
