Kevin J. Fortier

Kevin J. Fortier, 57, a longtime resident of Franklin, died unexpectedly at the Milford Regional Medical Center on Thursday, December 12. He was the husband of Jane M. (Spicer) Fortier for 36 years. Born in Brockton, he was raised in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1975. He also graduated from Jones College in Florida. Mr. Fortier served in the U.S. Navy from 1975-1979. He resided in Franklin for the past 26 years. He was an independent contractor for PCF for over 30 years.

In addition to his wife, Kevin is survived by his children, Jason A. Fortier of Franklin and Danielle F. Kapotas of Woonsocket, RI. He was the grandfather of Stephanos and Zachary. He is also survived by 4 brothers, many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, December 19 at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 5-7 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kevin's memory may be made to Jane Fortier, PO Box 93, Stoughton, MA 02072.
