Kevin W. Cotter

Kevin W. Cotter, 73, died Monday, February 26, 2024, at his home in Boston.  Son of the late Teresa E. (Slye) Cotter and Joseph I. Cotter, Jr, he was born in Boston and raised and educated in Stoughton.  He was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1967.   Kevin was a proud Veteran of the US Army and served in the United States and Korea.  He worked in the construction field for many years.  He was a resident of the Back Bay for many years.  Kevin was an avid sports fan and longtime season ticket holder of Northeastern University hockey and basketball.  He looked forward to attending Red Sox games with his brother Bill every season.  

Kevin is survived by his siblings, Richard D. Cotter and his wife Sandra of Dennis, Mary Cotter of Stoughton, Patricia Bismore and her partner Skip Bell of New Hampshire and William Cotter and his partner Kathy Marinelli of Stoughton. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Joseph I. Cotter III.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne on Tuesday, March 19 at 11:30 AM.  Donations in Kevin’s memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 (https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/).
