Kenneth F. Spencer, 79, a longtime resident of Chelsea, died at Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett on Saturday, June 5. Son of the late Herbert V. and Mary A. (Wescott) Spencer, he was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester. He was a resident of Chelsea for the past 20 years. Mr. Spencer was a Private First Class in the U.S. Marine Corps and a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a caretaker.
Mr. Spencer was the brother of the late Herbert Spencer, John Spencer, Edward Spencer, William Spencer, Beverly Vesey and Robert Spencer. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Washington St., Stoughton on Thursday, June 10 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours omitted. Donations in Kenneth's name may be made to the Soldiers Home in Chelsea, 91 Crest Ave., Chelsea, MA 02150.
