Kenneth J. Russell

Kenneth J. Russell, 54, a resident of Pembroke, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 27 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. He was the husband of Nancy E. (Wood) Russell. Born in Springfield, he was raised in Enfield, CT and graduated from Enfield High School, Class of 1973. He was a resident of Pembroke for the past 15 years. Mr. Russell was an U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a Facilities Manager at Broadridge Financial in Hingham for the past 8 years. He was a member of the IFMA and the Massachusetts and Connecticut BIA. A motorcycle enthusiast, he also enjoyed fishing in his free time.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Russell is survived by his daughter, Shawnna M. Russell of FL, as well as his parents, Charles M. and Marilyn C. (Creelman) Russell of CT. He was the brother of Roger C. Russell, Wayne R. Russell and Susan M. Main all of CT. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, a great-nephew, an aunt and cousins.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, August 3 at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5 PM. Burial will take place at the VA National Cemetery in Bourne. Due to floral restrictions at the cemetery, donations in Kenneth's name may be made to the American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
