Kenneth W. Krumbholz, age 71, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2022 at his residence in Stoughton. Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son to the late Mary (Swaidner) and Gil Krumbholz. He was the devoted husband to his wife Gail (Singer) Krumbholz for 40 loving years. He worked as a Quality Control Auditor for Blue Cross Blue Shield for 28 years, retiring in 2015. He began his career in the music scene in 1980 in Boston, playing with Sleepy LaBeef and J.B. Hutto, as well as many other different artists. He varied in many different genres of music, such as Blues and Rockabilly. He won a Grammy in 1984 for a Blues Album from the Montreux, Switzerland Jazz Festival. He was also a big fan of video games, which allowed him to listen to music endlessly as he played. He was “cat dad” to Barnum and Bailey who he loved dearly.
He was predeceased by his sister Carol Bolster, and his also survived by his niece Brooke Bolster and his nephew Bryan Bolster of Portland, Oregon. He also leaves behind many other dear friends and family.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt.27), on Tuesday August 23rd from 4-6:30PM, followed by Funeral Prayers at 6:30PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kenny’s name may be made to the MSPCA-Angell Attn: Donations, 50 South Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130.
