Kathy A. (Coulman) Ryder

Kathy A. (Coulman) Ryder, 64, died Monday, April 14, 2025. Born and raised in Jamaica Plain, she later moved to California to start her family before returning to Massachusetts where she made her permanent home. You may have known Kathy if you visited Bob’s Famous Food Mart in Stoughton where she cooked and served food for several years. She also worked several cashier jobs in the area over the last 30 years.

She was a gifted artist and explored multiple types of artistic mediums. She was also a talented flutist. Kathy enjoyed baking and cooking and specialized in lasagna. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with friends.

Kathy is survived by her children, Michael R. Coulman-Hall and his wife Kristen of Brockton, Patty Casey and her husband Chris of New Hampshire and Evelyn F. Ryder of East Bridgewater. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Lillian and Michael. Kathy was the sister of Jean Coulman of Florida and the late Jimmy Coulman. She is also survived by her former husband Michael Hall.

A Celebration of Kathy’s Life will be held at a date to be announced.
