Kathleen A. (Coakley) McKetchnie (March 1, 1952 – February 23, 2021), beloved wife of Raymond A. McKetchnie for 47 years. Devoted mother of Raymond T. and his wife Darcie of Florida, Ellen M. Lawson of Medfield, Karen A. McKetchnie and her partner Michael J. Fisher of Stoughton and Andrew M. and his fiancée Jana R. Bechard of Maine. Loving Nana to her seven grandchildren, Amelia, Eric, Alexis, Ethan, Andrew, Nicholas and Landon.
Daughter of the late Mortimer W. and Lorraine (Coutu) Coakley. Sister to Mary A. Scully of Methuen, Patricia M. Coakley of Dedham, Ann F. Davis of Sandwich, Joan E. Davis of New Hampshire and Maureen R. Burke of Dedham. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Kathleen was born and raised in Jamaica Plain. She attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School and graduated from the Boston City Hospital School of Nursing. Kathleen worked as a Registered Nurse for Hebrew Senior Life for over 30 years and was a member of the Massachusetts Nurses Association. She enjoyed traveling, especially taking cruises to the Caribbean with her husband. Her family was absolutely everything to her, especially her grandkids. She loved spending anytime she could with those she loved.
