Karen E. (Hammond) Pellegrine, age 65, passed away on October 11, 2021 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham after a period of declining health. She was born in Cambridge to the late James and Marie (Cocozziello) Hammond. She was the loving wife of many years to Mark Pellegrine. She graduated Dedham Highschool in 1975 and attended Baystate College in Boston. She worked in the food industry as a manager and then got into her real passion of making wreaths. This was one of her absolute favorite things do, any holiday and any occasion she could whip something up with her talent and hard work. Karen enjoyed camping and loved going to Maple Park in Wareham, where she even sold her wreaths at the campground. Some of her incredible work can be checked out at Facebook Market Place. She was great cook and loved to bake, especially for the holidays. She absolutely adored her children and her grandkids and her family was her biggest passion and love of all.
In addition to her husband Mark Pellegrine, Karen is survived by her children Christopher Pellegrine and his wife Lindsey, Jennifer Pellegrine and Justin Pellegrine and his fiancé Ashlee Hill. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kylie Pellegrine, Quinn Pellegrine, Michael Simone, and Jodi Pellegrine. She was also the loving sister to James Hammond, Cheryl Morello, and is predeceased by Joseph and David Hammond.
Visiting hours will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton, on Tuesday October 19 from 4-7 PM with funeral prayers at 7 PM.
