Karen J. Donoghue

Karen J. Donoghue peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 3 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She was the beloved daughter of Denis and Eileen (Harrington) Donoghue of Stoughton, formerly of Hyde Park. Born in Boston, she was raised in Hyde Park and was a graduate of Most Precious Blood School and St. Clare's High School in Roslindale. She was a resident of Bridgewater for the past 3 years, and previously lived in Stoughton and Hyde Park. Ms. Donoghue worked as a Personal Care Attendant for the past several years. Previously, she worked at Dedham Savings Bank. In her free time, she enjoyed photography, cooking, spending time with her family and spoiling her nieces and nephews.

Karen was the fiancé of John R. Snow of Bridgewater. She was the sister of Denise Deziel and Ellen Magoon both of Easton, Michael Donoghue of Stoughton, Patricia Donoghue of Randolph, Maureen Berardi and her husband William of Milton, Catherine Whitehouse and her husband Brian of Medway, Dennis Donoghue and his partner David Jordan of Dorchester, Jean Desmond and her husband Gary of Canton and the late David Donoghue. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, June 7, at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the Mass in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton from 9-11AM. Interment will be private.
