Julie S. (Chan) Ng

Julie S. (Chan) Ng, a longtime resident of Stoughton, passed away at the age of 82 on Monday, April 14, 2025. She was the wife of Kenneth Ng for 56 years. She was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Julie was a graduate of the Royal College of Music in London, England. She was an accomplished piano music teacher for many years in Kuala Lumpur. She and her family moved to Boston in 1988. In that period, Julie worked at Liberty Mutual until she retired in her sixties. After which, she became a mortgage broker, specializing in commercial loans, working all the way up to her passing. Julie loved to eat and cook foods of all kinds and was very much into baking. She made two wedding cakes and her own golden anniversary cake. Julie was selfless and would do anything for anybody. She always cared more for others than herself. She will be missed very much.

In addition to her husband, Julie is survived by her son Kevin, daughter Jillian and son-in-law Paul Bryant. She is also survived by her sister, Pearl Wong in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and numerous nephews and nieces in Kuala Lumpur as well as in Sydney, Australia.

Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, April 22 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Prayers will be held from the Farley Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 23 at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
