Judith Ann (Carlton) Santos, 46, died Saturday at the BayPointe Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Robert P. Santos. Born and raised in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton High School, class of 1986 and Framingham State College, Class of 1990. She was a lifelong resident of Stoughton. Mrs. Santos worked as a Nursing Assistant at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton for over 5 years, previously working as a Social Worker for the Green Tree Boys Club in Brockton and the Key Program in Fall River. In her free time, she enjoyed walking with her mother at Ponkapoag Golf Course in Canton, reading at the Stoughton Library, swimming and spending time at the beach.
She is survived by her children, Ashley M. Simons and her husband Christopher and Danielle R. Santos and her parents, Richard A. Carlton and Nancy J. (Radovsky) Carlton all of Stoughton. She was the stepmother of Robert M. Santos of Salem and Amanda Santos of Quincy. Mrs. Santos also leaves her brother Dean Carlton of Weymouth and her sister Robin Carlton of Stoughon and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services will be held in the Sharon Memorial Park, 120 Canton St. Sharon on Wednesday at 10:45 AM.
