Joyce E. (Peterson) Greenwood

Joyce E. (Peterson) Greenwood, 63, a longtime resident of Brockton, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Thomas R. Greenwood for 44 years. Daughter of the late Robert W. and Rosemary J. (Champoux) Peterson, she was born in Boston and raised in Roslindale. Joyce was a graduate of Roslindale High School, Class of 1972. She resided in Brockton for the past 40 years. She was an Activities Aide at Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home for 8 years before retiring in 2007.

In addition to her husband, Joyce is survived by her daughters, Jill M. Clements and her husband Todd of Bridgewater and Jaime A. Greenwood of Brockton, as well as her grandchildren, Rylie and Bradyn Clements. She was the sister of Judie Shields of Hyde Park and the late Janet Driscoll and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27), Stoughton on Tuesday, February 20 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Brockton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 5-8 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce's memory may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St., W. Bridgewater, MA 02379.
