Josephine “Jo” R. (Phillips) Mullen

Josephine R. (Phillips) Mullen, of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Friday, August 25, 2023. She was 87 years old. Josephine was a cafeteria manager at Stoughton High School for over 45 years. She was deeply devoted to her children and grandchildren and an avid fan of Tom Brady.   

Daughter of the late Robert and Mary Phillips. Loving mother of Kathleen O’Brien of Foxboro, Michael Mullen of Wareham, Nancy Finn of East Wareham, David Mullen and his late wife Melinda of Stoughton, and Joanne R. Lerette and her husband Ricky of Stoughton. Sister of the late Robert, James, and Frederick Phillips, Rita Albanese, Alma Carlson, and Beverly Gates. Proud grandmother of Edward and Nicole Finn, Kaitlyn Clark and her husband Andrew, Kristine O’Brien, Danielle Lerette and her husband Jon Silva, and Benjamin Mullen. Proud great-grandmother of Edward Finn V, Fallon Hanrahan, and Dean Clark.

Visiting hours in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, August 30 from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be held in the Trinity Episcopal Church, 414 Sumner St., Stoughton on Thursday at 10 AM.
