Josephine M. (Ottati) Coughlin

Josephine M. (Ottati) Coughlin, 95, died peacefully at the Copley at Stoughton on Sunday, December 6, 2015. She was the wife of the late Francis W. Coughlin. Born in Italy, she was educated in Somerville schools. She was a resident of Bridgewater for 41 years before moving to Sharon 2 years ago. Mrs. Coughlin was a bookkeeper for Bridgewater Public Schools for 14 years before retiring in 1985. She was a devout Catholic and a 3rd Order Franciscan and devoted her life to her children and family.

Mrs. Coughlin is survived by her children, Francis R. Coughlin of Brockton and Margaret C. Cittadino and her husband Charles L., Jr. of Sharon. She was the grandmother of Kevin F. and Maegan M. Coughlin and Nick Cittadino and great-grandmother of Jordan Monteiro. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and sisters and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, December 10 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sharon at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
