Joseph W. Winters

Joseph W. Winters, 85, of Winter Garden, FL, formerly of N. Dartmouth and Stoughton, passed away October 21 at Vitas Inpatient Care at Quality Healthcare in Winter Garden. He was born April 11, 1927 in Boston, son of John and Grace Larivee Winters. He served in the US Army during World War II and retired from G.E. as a Master Machinist prior to relocating to central Florida in 2007. He resided in Stoughton for 41 years before moving to N. Dartmouth in 2004.

His wife, Alice (Moran) Winters, preceded him in death in 1997 as did his brother, James Winters. Surviving are his children, John Winters of Cocoa, FL, Patricia Winters of Tucson, AZ, Kevin Winters of Falmouth, Stephen Winters of Stoughton and Theresa DiMaddalena of Brockton, as well as 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be private. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
