Joseph John Tiberio

Joseph John Tiberio, 67, died Sunday, February 8 at the Brockton VA Medical Center after a short illness. He was the father of Joseph D. and Shane M. Tiberio both of Stoughton. Born in Watertown, he graduated from St. Patrick's High School in 1960 and later moved to Brockton where he lived for many years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Tiberio was a meat cutter for over 50 years and last worked as a meat manager for Stop & Shop. He was also an active member of Red Sox Nation.
In addition to his sons, Mr. Tiberio is survived by his longtime companion Judith Siciliano of Taunton and his siblings, Linda Distefano and her husband John of Newton, Louise Sutherland of Uxbridge and Julian Tiberio of Watertown.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, February 12 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-7 PM. Burial will take place at VA National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers donations in Joseph's name may be made to the Brockton VA Medical Center, 940 Belmont St., Brockton, MA 02301.
