Joseph F Perry, Sr. died Sunday, November 12, at the home of his daughter, Debra McHugh. He was 78. Born in Cambridge, he was currently residing in Easton but lived for many years in Stoughton. He attended Dorchester Schools. Mr. Perry served in the Navy during World War II. He was a radio and TV repairman for many years. Joseph also worked as a self-employed roofer and contractor, retiring 10 years ago. He was a life member of the VFW Romanuck Post 1645 in Stoughton. Joseph was an inventor and held several patents. He also enjoyed sculpting in marble.

Mr. Perry leaves his wife Jean M. (Howard) Perry. He is also survived by his children Joseph Perry, Jr. of FL, Janeen Perry of Carver, Denise Desrosiers of Holbrook, Debra McHugh of E. Bridgewater, Robert M. Perry of Norwood, John D. Perry of Norton, Christopher Perry of No. Easton and Maria Crombie of Berkley. Mr Perry is also survived by 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Perry.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, November 15 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, North Easton, at 10AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Burial will follow at VA National Cemetery in Bourne.
