Joseph S. Marino, 68, died unexpectedly at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston on Monday, May 28. He was the husband of Lena "Lee" (Morganelli) Marino. Born in Boston, he attended Boston Schools and was a graduate of Boston English High School. Mr. Marino was also a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston. He was a Veteran of the National Guard. Mr. Marino worked as a buyer and Head of Inventory Control for H. E. Harris in Boston for many years. He also worked for Chadwick of Boston in Bridgewater before his retirement in 2005. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf, basketball, softball bowling, gardening, traveling and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife Lee, he is survived by his two daughters, Lynn A. Chase of Weymouth and Christine (Marino) Psota of Easton. He was the brother of Rosalie Marino and Florence Marino both of Plymouth and Diane Breen of Pembroke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his grandchildren Nicholas Chase, Catherine Chase and Alexandria Psota.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, June 1 at 10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Easton at 11:30AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Donations in Joe's name may be made to Joslin Diabetes Clinic, 1 Joslin Way, Boston, 02115. Burial will be at Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon.
