Joseph P. Guiney

Joseph P. Guiney, 47, died Sunday, January 4, 2015. He was the son of Margaret L. "Peggy" (O'Toole) Guiney of Stoughton and the late Paul K. Guiney. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a longtime resident of Stoughton. He formerly worked as a Postal Worker for the US Postal Service in Norwood. In his free time, he enjoyed cars, skiing and camping.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Paul K. Guiney, Jr. of CT, William F. Guiney of Haverhill, Jeanne M. Clemente of NY and Christine A. Guiney of Dedham. He is also survived by 4 nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 12 Noon at the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St. (Rt. 27), Stoughton. Visiting Hours prior to the Mass from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton. Donations in Joe's memory may be made to Fr.
