Joseph P. Burke

Joseph P. Burke, 68, died Saturday, July 3, at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of 42 years of Stacie (Aloupis) Burke. Born in Boston, he graduated for Mission High School in 1958. He was a resident of Stoughton for the last 30 years. Mr. Burke worked in the management department of the Sears Robuck Company in Brookline. In his free time he enjoyed reading, especially about American History, the Civil War and World War II.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Joseph P. Burke of Stoughton and Deana Bailey and her husband Brian of Foxboro. He is also survived by his grandchildren Brian Jr. and Declan Bailey.
Funeral service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, July 8 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Donation's in Joseph's name may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Rockville, MD 20852.
