Jose A. Rego

Jose A. Rego, 67, of Stoughton, died at the Good Samaritan Medical Center on Friday, January 13. Beloved husband of Maria (Resendes) Rego, he was born and educated in Portugal. Mr. Rego was a baker for Dunkin Donuts and enjoyed playing cards at Club Sao Joao.

Mr. Rego is survived by his son Alvaro Rego and his wife Tina of Stoughton. He was the loving grandfather of Samantha, Christopher, Nicholas and Victoria. Mr. Rego was the son of Joao and Maria Rego. He was the brother to: Maria Virginia Freitas and her husband Humberto, Maria Fatima Freitas and her late husband Manuel, Joao Rego and his wife Madelina and Maria Conceicao Rodrigues all of Stoughton. He is also survived my many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton, at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
