Jose P. Freitas

Jose P. Freitas, 56, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at the Tippett House in Needham on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Son of the late Jose E. and Maria P. (Pedro) Freitas, he was born in Caveira, Flores, Azores, Portugal. He was educated in Flores and Stoughton schools. Jose was a resident of Stoughton for 50 years. He was a maintenance worker at the Knollsbrook Condominium Complex in Stoughton for the past 10 years. In his free time he enjoyed fishing.

Jose is survived by his children, Debbie Todd, Timothy Freitas and Jeffrey Freitas all of Pensacola, Florida and his grandson, Thadius Todd. He was the brother of Maria F. Amaral of Stoughton and the late Maria A. Ramos. He is also survived by his nephew, Joe Amaral of Stoughton.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, April 27 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
