Jose M. Carreiro

Jose M. Carreiro, 75, died unexpectedly at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Monday, May 15. He was the husband of Maria Lourdes (Aguiar) Carreiro. Born in Azores, Portugal, he was a resident of Stoughton since 1973. Mr. Carreiro worked as a factory worker for Corcoran Shoe in Stoughton for many years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his siblings, Lourdes Faria of Brockton, Elvira Moniz and Armando Moniz both of Portugal and Francisco Moniz of Canada. He was predeceased by his sister Maria Alice Moniz. He is also survived by 9 nieces and 4 nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
