John F. "Jack" Tinglof

John F. "Jack" Tinglof

John F. "Jack" Tinglof, 66, a longtime resident of Brockton, died peacefully at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury on Friday, December 2, 2016. He was the son of Joan E. (Courchaine) and Harry E. Jackson of Stoughton. Born in Boston, he was raised in Stoughton and attended Stoughton High School. Jack was a Specialist 4th Class in the U.S. Army and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He resided in Brockton for the past 30 years. Jack was a carpet salesman for 20 years before retiring 10 years ago. He was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed listening to music from the 1950's and 1960's.

In addition to his parents, Jack is survived by his son, Nicholas Tinglof of Brockton, as well as his grandchildren, Kyle and Kyndall Tinglof. He was the brother of Stephen M. Tinglof of Raynham, Paula M. Tinglof of Cranston, RI, Michelé L. Gildea of Easton, Michael Jackson, Denise Flaherty and David Jackson all of Stoughton and Lynne DaRos of Portsmouth, RI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were private. Donations in Jack's memory may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
