John S. Saunders

John S. Saunders, 50, died unexpectedly at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Saturday, August 11. He was the husband of Dori R. (Schulze) Saunders. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Boston Tech and attended Wentworth University and Bunker Hill Community College. He was a resident of Stoughton for 17 years after living in Dorchester for many years. Mr. Saunders was a Service Technician at East Coast Induction in Brockton for 17 years. He was a handyman and loved working in his vegetable garden.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Saunders is survived by his stepchildren, Michael D. Medeiros of Taunton, Christy L. Medeiros of Stoughton and Kimberly A. Medeiros of Mansfield. He was the beloved Papa of Jasmine C. Medeiros and son of Margaret (Murray) Saunders of Hanson. He was the brother of Mark Saunders of PA, Virginia Hennessy of Hanson, Francis Saunders of Hull and Diane Newell of Norton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, August 15 at 8 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 4-8 PM. Burial will be private. Donations in John's name may be made to Make a Wish Foundation, 1 Bulfinch Place, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02114.
