John A. Rampino

John A. Rampino, 68, died Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Boston, John was raised and educated in Hyde Park and was a graduate of Hyde Park High. In 1975, he married Margaret A. “Peggy” McSheffrey, and together they have spent the last 48 years together and have lovingly raised three children. They moved their young family to Stoughton over 27 years ago and have made it their home. John was a dedicated and talented Draftsman for Woodard & Curran in Canton for many years. John took pride in his home, and could be often found tending to his yard or behind the wheel of his ‘99 Jeep Cherokee. He was a sports fan who enjoyed watching baseball and football. Although he could be loud and spirited at times, his love for his family and friends never waivered.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his mother Ernesta Seaver of Milton, his children; Tammy A. Hillery and her husband David of Halifax, John H. Rampino and his wife Carly of Freetown and Erin M. Rampino of Wells, ME. He was the loving Papa of Christopher M. Stearns, John Anthony Rampino and Ava Amelia Rampino. He was the brother of Rose Rampino of Mansfield, Sheila Scott of Randolph, Charles Rampino of Westboro and Sharon Efstathiou of Attleboro. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Jaylean Hillery and Skylar McManus and several nieces and nephews.
