John R. Parker

John R. Parker, 58, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 17, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Doreen E. (Pelton) Parker. Born and raised in Brockton, he was a graduate of Brockton High School. He worked as a Taxi Driver for Bob's Taxi in Stoughton for several years, and also worked as a newspaper delivery man. He enjoyed working on cars. John was a fan of NASCAR and especially enjoyed watching Dale Earnhart Jr. In his free time, he enjoyed painting, drawing and model cars.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jessica L. Parker of Attleboro and Anthony M. Boghosian of NH. He was the brother of Bonnie Matta and Ruth Rowe both of Brockton. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
