John I. McGrath

John I. McGrath, 90, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. He was the husband of Jean R. (Moran) McGrath of 65 years. Born, raised and educated in Boston, Mr. McGrath worked as an industrial engineer at Boston Gas Co. for many years, retiring in 1991.

Mr. McGrath is survived by his children Eileen Purcell of Stoughton, John McGrath & his wife Debra "Dobbo" of Stoughton, Kathleen Millican of Brockton, Kevin McGrath & his late wife Michelle of Stoughton and Paula McGrath & partner Michael Mason of Stoughton. Grandfather to Kellie, Michael, Matthew, Daniel, Kimberley, Kayla and Shauna. Brother to the late Thomas McGrath, Mary Fallon, Jeanie Foley and Peter McGrath. He was also uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 4-8 PM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 10 AM.
