John H. "J.L." Littig

John “J.L.” Littig, 80, died Monday, March 10, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of declining health. Born in Jamaica Plain, he was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain and was a graduate of Boston Schools and Wentworth Institute. He was a resident of Stoughton for many years. J.L. worked for Local 7 Ironworkers Union in Boston and retired several years ago. He enjoyed playing cards, working out, motorcycles, the beach, traveling and taking care of his dogs.

J.L. is survived by his partner, Elissa Sarnie of Stoughton, and his children, Lynnann Wentzell and her partner Phillip Heekin of FL, Kim Littig of CT, and Jason Cerci and his partner Michelle Ford of Stoughton. He was predeceased by his daughter Robin Littig. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Joseph Littig, Kelli McCarthy, Eric Wentzell, Shawn Wentzell and Dominic Ford.
