John J. "Jack" Kuhn, Jr., a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after a period of failing health. He was the loving husband of Diana R. (Panagacos) Kuhn. Born in Boston, he was raised in Jamaica Plain and Roslindale . He was a graduate of Quincy College. Jackie worked for the Town of Wellesley as a Water Operator for over 16 years. A history buff, he enjoyed reading, watching documentaries and fishing. He was a skilled handyman who was a fan of the Patriots and the Celtics. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be forever remembered for his amazing sense of humor and huge laugh.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Christine M. Kuhn and John J. Kuhn both of Stoughton. He was the son of Pauline E. (Bates) Thompson and her husband Otis. He was the brother of James R. Kuhn of Hyde Park, Robert J. Kuhn and Edmund P. Kuhn both of Stoughton and Margaret "Peggy" Ramondi of Brockton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Donations in Jack's memory may be made to the Donate Life Foundation, 60 First Ave., Waltham, MA 02451.
