John Adam Kotlik

John Adam Kotlik, 72, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick, RI on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. He was the husband of the late Denise E. (Gaudet) Kotlik. Son of the late Adam J. and Julia C. (Zabrosky) Kotlik, he was born in Stoughton and graduated from Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1970. He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. John was a property manager at Northgate Condominiums in Waltham for 30 years then was a general contracting project manager until his retirement in 2018. He was very involved with Boy Scout Troop 516 in Stoughton. He also volunteered at St. Anthony’s Food Pantry in Stoughton. He was a lifelong woodworker and a scotch and cigar connoisseur. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

John is survived by his sons, Adam J. Kotlik and his wife Cheri of Stoughton, Matthew J. Kotlik and his wife Samantha of Sarasota, FL and Joshua P. Kotlik and his wife Catherine of Northfield, NH. He was the loving “Dziadziu” of Isabella Kotlik, John “Jack” Kotlik, Luke Kotlik and Denise Kotlik. 

Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, March 5 from 4-7 PM. Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, March 6 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a check in John’s memory may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton, MA 02072 and include St. Anthony’s Food Pantry on the memo line.
