John G. Kneeland

John G. Kneeland, 47, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Faulkner Hospital in West Roxbury. He was the husband of Leah M. (Dognazzi) Kneeland. Born in Boston, he was raised in Roslindale and was a graduate of Holy Name School in West Roxbury and Trinity Catholic in Newton. Mr. Kneeland was a resident of Stoughton for the past 10 years. He worked as the parts manager for Alco Auto Parts in Jamaica Plain for several years. A dedicated lifelong fan of the Boston Bruins, in his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, two sons and his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, John D. "Jack" Kneeland and Joseph P. Kneeland both of Stoughton. He was the son of Patricia M. (McCarthy) Kneeland of Roslindale and the late Paul J. Kneeland, Sr. He was the brother of Mary T. Kneeland, Robert P. Kneeland and Kathleen Kneeland all of Roslindale, Joanne Masci of CA and Paul J. Kneeland of NJ. He is also survived by his in-laws, Fred & Diane Barrett of Marshfield and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, May 27, from 5 to 8 PM. Donations in his memory may be made for the benefit of the Kneeland Children by donating to the Kneeland Children's Fund at any Eastern Bank or to the Kneeland Children's Fund, PO Box 93, Stoughton, MA 02072.
