John A. "Jack" Kane of Sharon Oct 30th Surrounded by his family at his home at age 72. Born in Boston, graduating from Boston English High School. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Engineering from Excelsia College and his Bachelors in Psychology from Stonehill College. He Served 30 years in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserves from 1956 til his retirement in 1999 as a Master Chief Petty Officer. A Resident of Sharon for over 35 years, He was a Environmental engineer and owned Sherlock Environmental of Sharon. He was a member of the Sharon V.F.W and Sharon American Legion and the Sharon Fish And Game. Beloved husband of Karen Kane. Loving father of John A. "Jack" Kane of Sharon, James E. Kane of Dorchester, Lisa A. Kane-Hamilton of Milton and Jeffrey M. Kane of Norfolk. Also survived by 6 grandchildren. He was the son of the late John and Ann May Kane, Brother of the late Edward T. Kane. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday Nov 2nd from 5-8pm at the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. Stoughton. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday Nov 4th at the Funeral Home at 12:00 noon followed by a commital service with military honors at Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon.
