John A. Harrington

John A. Harrington, Jr., AKA Janelle A. Harrington, died unexpectedly Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Summit Medical Center in Nashville, TN after a short illness. Born and raised in Brockton, he was a graduate of Southeastern Regional Technical High School in Easton in 1990, and Johnson & Wales University in RI in 1994. For over 10 years, he was a resident of Nashville, TN. He worked as Senior Release Coordinator for The Active Network for several years.
He is survived by his parents, John A. Harrington and his longtime girlfriend Terri Washburn of Brockton and Cicelia A. (Angeli) Lally and her husband Christopher of Stoughton. He was the brother of Christine Shepard and her husband the late Howard Shepard Jr., of Stoughton. He is also survived by his nephew Connor Shepard and his niece Hayley Shepard; his dogs, Bella and Nettles and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday, November 23 at 3 PM. Visiting Hours will be prior to the prayers from 1-3 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Shepard Family Benefit Fund, PO Box 514, Stoughton, MA 02072.
