John W. Hanlon

John W. Hanlon, age 78, passed away on August 11, 2023 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Boston, he was the son to the late Ann M. (Callahan) Greene and John R. Greene. He was a factory worker for Central Odyssey in Boston for 17 years. He enjoyed playing pool and putting on Elvis concerts for his family and friends, and was known by everyone as “Jackie” and “Jack Elvis”. Above all, his favorite time spent was with being with his family.

He is survived by his daughter Annette Conrad of Stoughton. He is also survived by his longtime companion Nancy, and former companion and mother to his daughter, Ann Fegan. He was the brother to James Hanlon of FL, Nancy Mulcahy of Taunton, Susan Burke of Mansfield and Kerry Greene of Stoughton, and was preceded in death by his brothers John Richard Greene and William T. Greene. He was the grandfather to Anna Albert and her husband Paul, Larisa Parkman and her husband Ben and Eddie Conrad. He was the great-grandfather to Nevaeh, Gianna and Marcus Parkman, and Nathaniel, Thérèse, Michael, John, and Moses Albert. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews that he adored.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt.27), Stoughton, on Wednesday August 16^th from 5-8PM. Funeral will be held at the funeral home the next day, Thursday, August 17^th at 9:30AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton.
