John P. Glennon

John P. Glennon, 48, died Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after suffering injuries in a car accident. He was the beloved son of Frances R. (Murphy) Glennon and Maurice P. "Pete" Glennon of FL, formerly of Stoughton. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and attended Stoughton Schools. Mr. Glennon was a lifelong resident of Stoughton. He worked as a carpenter for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and in his free time he enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Linda M. Murray and Theresa M. Austin both of Easton, Timothy J. Glennon of Bridgewater, Michael P. Glennon of Stoughton and Brenda M. Norman of LA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, July 16 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Donations in John's memory may be made to the Alzheimers' Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
