John J. "Jack" Doyle, 85, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Jeannette (Whooley) Doyle for 63 years. Son of the late John and Mary (Biel) Doyle, he was born in Boston and raised in Roxbury. Jack was a graduate of Boston Technical High School, Class of 1954. He resided in Stoughton since 1969. He was a firefighter for the City of Boston for over 30 years before retiring in 1999 and was a member of the Local 718 Firefighters Union in Boston.
In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his children, Jeannette M. Doyle-Gay and John J. Doyle, Jr. both of Stoughton, Michael J. Doyle of Canton, Dianne M. Doyle of Norton and Kathleen M. McCormack of Easton. He was the brother of the late Lorraine Granito and is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Funeral Services private due to the coronavirus pandemic. Interment will take place at Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon.
