John T. Burba, 63, died unexpectedly at home in Marshfield on Saturday, January 12. He was the son of the late Stanley B. and Leona A. (LePage) Burba. Born and raised in Stoughton, he was a graduate of St. Mary's School in Stoughton and Cardinal Spellman High School in Brockton. He also attended Northeastern University in Boston. He was a resident of Green Harbor, Marshfield for over 40 years. Mr. Burba was a Project Superintendent for Land Tech Contractors in Stoughton for many years. He was a member of the Berwick Boys Foundation Founders Group. An avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, reading and spending time on his computer.
Mr. Burba is survived by his brother, James S. Burba and his wife Joan of Stoughton, as well as his nephews, John T. Burba and James S. Burba, Jr. and his niece, Jennifer Burba. He was the great-uncle of Joshua and Brianna Burba and nephew of Theresa (LePage) Kittredge of ME. He is also survived by many cousins.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, January 17 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM.
