Jodie E. (Goldstein) Medeiros

Jodie E. (Goldstein) Medeiros, 58, died early Friday morning, March 24, 2023 at the Seasons Hospice in Milton. She was a dedicated mother and caretaker of all those around her and was widely loved and respected.  She was a loyal and enthusiastic friend who was full of life and loved visiting beaches from Maine to the Caribbean. Jodie was the wife of the late Jose Fernando Medeiros.  Born in Augusta, ME, daughter of the late Edward and Thelma (Entner) Goldstein, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School.  She also attended Massasoit Community College.  In her professional life Jodie worked for decades in Medical Coding. She received many professional accolades over the years and was very well respected amongst her peers. She worked for Mass General Hospital for several years before she was forced to retire due to her illness early last year.

Jodie was the beloved mother of Lindsey D. Medeiros of ME and Nickole M. Medeiros of Stoughton.  She was the sister of Cindy Stevens of Uxbridge, Todd Goldstein of Berkley and Jonathan Goldstein of Whitinsville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Jodie’s Life will be held in the summer at her home in Stoughton at a day and time to be announced.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Jodie’s memory may be made to Sophia's Grace Foundation Dachshund Rescue (sophiasgracefoundation.org)
